Jeep Fest for Mission K9 Warriors

Join us for a day filled with Jeeps and fun with the family at the Middle Fork Jeep Fest as we raise funds for Mission K9 Warrior. This year the Jeep Fest will be held at the Vermilion County Fairgrounds located at 1180 East Road just off Hwy 150 in Oakwood, IL where we will have a demonstration area, mud, jeep show with trophies, a kid zone, giveaways and raffles, vendors, music, silent auction, and food trucks. The gates open at 10 AM for a day of fun.

Admission

  • $20 per jeep/driver and includes entry in the Jeep show.
  • $10 per additional passenger
  • Kids 15 and under are free with an adult
  • One time entry fee of $10 per jeep for unlimited access to demonstration area
  • $10 per general public spectator

Cost to be a vendor is $25/vendor. If you need electricity, an additional $25 is charged by the fairgrounds. Please note, unless we get a last minute cancellation, slots for food vendors are no longer available.

This event could not take place without the help of our sponsors and donors. We welcome the donation of goods, services, and/or financial support. We are in need of small donations for door prizes and raffles, larger items for our silent auction, and used jeep parts for Show & Shine trophies.

Volunteer

We need volunteers to make this event a success. Please reach out to us via our Facebook Event page if you'd like to volunteer for part of the day. We need people to help with the following:

  • Gate entrance
  • Parking
  • Assist with club vendor tables: general info, sell t-shirts, monitor silent auction tables, etc.
  • Sell raffle tickets
  • Supervise the kids area
  • Spotters for the demonstration and mud area
  • Event security (limited to folks with experience in this area - military, police, security, etc. - active or retired personnel)
  • Set up (day before / morning of)
  • Clean up (evening of / next day)

Accommodations

Camping:
  • Vermilion County Fairgrounds: RV and tent camping with electric hookups and shower house are available. No registration required - just show up. Fairgrounds personnel will come by your site to check you in after you get settled in. Cost is $25/night for RV/electric and $15 per night for tent camping (no electric). Note, there is no dump station on site - closest is at Kickapoo. There might be dump stations at a truck stop along I-74 in Oakwood, IL and Covington, IN.
  • Kickapoo State Park located in Oakwood.
  • Middle Fork River Forest Preserve, 3485 County Rd 2700 E, Penfield, IL 61862
  • Rolling Hills Campground, 3151 County Rd 2800 E, Penfield, IL 61862
Hotels are available in the following nearby cities:
  • Danville, IL (5-10 minutes)
  • Urbana, IL (20-25 minutes)

Supporting Mission K9 Warrior

This is a fundraising event. All proceeds from the Jeep Fest will go to Mission K9 Warrior in Georgetown, Illinois to provide local veterans with PTSD service dogs free of charge.

American Legion Post 203 Georgetown, Illinois is dedicated to funding PTSD service K9's and providing them to veterans in services with PTSD at no charge
